The two bands that i'd really love to have good quality live recordings of are Muse and The Mars Volta. Both bands albums are Mind-boggoling to incredible extremes, and although rooted strongly outside of the jamband genre, they do improv, and the intensity of their live shows from what I hear is beyond compare. I don't know where they stand in terms of allowing taping of shows, but it would be a historical tragedy for them to go undocumented.
